![]() APM Terminals’ APIs, specifically, connect a customer’s Transport or Logistics Planning System with real-time data from a terminal’s Terminal Operating System (TOS). The liquid terminal comprises 12 enclosures and 7 weighbridges, further enhancing its efficiency and operational capabilities.APM Terminals is accelerating its roll-out of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in a bid to handle the mass surge in container volumes.Īn API is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other.The facility is equipped with firefighting systems, nitrogen systems, cargo heating and cooling systems (including refrigeration units), and an effluent treatment plant (ETP).Additional facilities include BTPN wagon unloading for white and black petroleum oils, ISO tank container rake loading for chemicals, and a bunkering facility compliant with the latest MARPOL guidelines.The facility provides 90 loading bays for uninterrupted delivery from each tank, allowing simultaneous loading by three road tankers, and 12 unloading bays.The cargo storage options include bond or non-bond warehouses, SEZ, and FTWZ facilities.There are 13 dock pipelines available for discharging/loading of cargoes between berths and storage tanks.The facility handles and stores Class A, B, and C grade petroleum products, as well as chemicals, edible oils, and non-edible oils.The tank farm consists of 100 tanks with a total storage capacity of 4.63 Lakh KL.Mundra port stands out as the only port terminal on the North-West coast of India that handles Bulk Bitumen.Different tank enclosures include fixed cone roofs, floating roofs, and internal floating tanks to accommodate different types of cargoes.The tanks are equipped with insulation facilities, heating capabilities, and pipeline surface heat tracing.The tank farm comprises a combination of SS tanks, CS tanks, and MS tanks, enabling storage of various types of cargoes such as vegetable oil, chemicals, and petrochemicals.Our priority is to ensure the utmost safety and security for our customers throughout the entire process. The infrastructure at the Liquid Terminal is designed to provide exceptional storage facilities, with a strong emphasis on safety and security in cargo handling and storage. At the port, the tank farm has the capacity to store a diverse range of liquid cargo, including vegetable oil, chemicals, and petroleum, oil & lubricants (POL) products. These berths are connected to a variety of pipelines, enabling the safe and efficient transfer of liquid products from the jetty to the tank farm. The MPT-1 terminal is equipped with four dedicated berths specifically designed for the handling of liquid cargoes.
